Mentioned in testament of Henriette Perrod, widow of Pierre Perrin, 28 oct 1590 (Clement Butty, notary at Vevey). She had lived in the household of George Dutoit in Vevey, likely her brother-in-law, and left her estate to George, his son Légier, and their servants, also to Clauda daughter of Maurice Dutoit and Clauda Aragon. By 1608, living within the parish of Corsier. A partage of 25 oct 1615 (J. Maquelin, notary) reveals that Légier is now dead, and his brothers make a settlement.

His marriage to Anteine Perrod in 1564 is well documented. He also seems to have participated in a settlement relating to heirs of the late Pierre Veyre in 1563. Since he seems to be the only Louis Dutoit in Chavannes at this period, we have very little hesitation in asserting that the Antoine Dutoit son of the late Louis Dutoit of Chavannes who appears at Vevey circa 1585 is his son.
This conclusion is supported in the terrier ACV Fn 347, fol. 76, where we find a reconnaissance of 22 mar 1592 by Jehan son of the late Claude Duthey acting for his cousin Anthoine, son of Loys Duthey, bourgeois de Vevey.
While Louis Dutoit was one of the heirs of the late Pierre Veyre, none of his siblings were among those heirs. The other fathers of the other heirs have been identified, but not their mothers. It is not certain that they were all related to Pierre Veyre at all. Pierre had no children of his own, and there is no obvious reason why he chose these particular heirs.. Perhaps he was their godfather?

Louise appears 31 may 1728 in a document of Daniel Antoine Jossevel, notary at Moudon, claiming that her sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne Judith Dutoit and Pierre Abraham Besançon, have sold furniture from the estate of their father the late Philippe
Dutoit, in which Louise has a 1/2 interest, and thus requests payment of her share. She is conclusively identified as the wife of David Ogay of Lovattens in a document recorded 09 feb 1739 (Daniel Antoine Jossevel, notary at Moudon) relating to her
siblings. Another document of 11 jan 1736 (Simeon Briod, notary at Moudon) names her uncle Jean Jaques Dutoit and her first cousin Jean Dutoit.
