Her testament was recorded by David Tavel, notary at Payerne (ACV DP 101/1), 27 may 1694, naming her children Daniel Jaccaud, notary, Marie Magdelaine , and Judith, wife of Jean de Trey. Judith turns out to be Judith Tavel, whose parentage is known, thus establishing also the identity of the wife of Pierre Jaccaud.
She was admitted as a citizen of Bern in 1623, with "her two sons", most likely Daniel and Isaac. By 1640, one of her houses at Payerne, La Disnaz, was sold by her daughter, wife of Abraham Chuard, suggesting that Jeanne had died.

In the last quarter of the 16th Century he is frequently cited throughout the Pays de Vaud as "Commissaire général des Etats de Berne". He appears frequently in the records of Claude de Place, notary at Lutry, in the 1580's and 1590's, both for himself and on behalf of the Gachet family.

Samuel Moratel's testament, David Savary notary, 1617, mentions wife Marguerite Rouge, sons Salomon and Abraham, and unnamed daughters. In both records of the marriage, Samuel is listed as beging from Sedeilles, chatellain of Villarzel, and the bride is listed as the daughter of François Rouge (Roioz in the Payerne record). The index to the registers at Payerne is lacking most of the entries for "Moratel" marriages, so this was missed in earlier research.
[14575] Another record at Granges dated 08 jan 1593 is presumably a record of the bann. The bride's surname is spelled Rouge at Grange, and Roioz (same as Rojoz) at Payerne.
