A settlement recorded by Vincent Briod, notary (ACV DL 9/1), dated 24 oct 1671, involves the heirs of the late Susanne Dutoit, wife of Jacob Frossard, conseiller de Moudon, and mother of the children of the late Daniel Demierre, justicier et conseiller de Moudon—who, however, are not named! A little more informative is a rental agreement recorded 05 aug 1667 by one of the notaries Faucherres (ACV DL 40/3), in which Susanne Dutoit, widow of Daniel Demierre, in his lifetime conseiller and justicier of Moudon, is advised by her "cousin" M. David de Treytorrens, Vidomne de Moudon, and her "nephew" Egrège Timothée Tacheron (possibly the person referred to elsewhere as François Timothée Tacheron, who, however, has not been identified), renting property to Philippe Pictet. If she were the daughter of Gaspard Dutoit and Sara Nicod born in 1604, she would be a first cousin once removed to the Vidomne, but that would make Susanne too old to be the mother of several of her children. Other documents imply that Susanne was connected with another Gaspard, but so far, no direct confirmation of her parentage has come to light. Her relationships as stated above, however unclear they may be, must also explain how her son Abraham Demierre could be a cousin of Esther Tacheron, wife of Jacob Samuel Jayet.
Is it possible she was the daughter of Daniel Dutoit and Marie Frossard, born in 1625?

Identified as sister of Salomé Dutoit who married Sebastien Philippe Chastellanat in 1717. Her testament of 28 nov 1746 was apparently probated 30 nov 1746 (Jaques David Burnand, notary and curial at Moudon). However, the death register at Moudon shows she died 26 nov 1747! The date of probate should probably be 30 nov 1747. Her age at death is given as 84 years.
Transcript of her death record: "Susanne née Dutoit Veufve du Sieur David Frossard de Brenles & Moudon & domiciliée dans ce dernier Lieu agée de quatre vingt & quatre a cinq ans ayant eté malade quatre jours d'une espece de rhume est morte le 26e 9bre 1747 entre neuf & dix heures du matin & a eté enterrée le 28e dit. Elle laisse trois filles dont l'une est mariée, & les deux autres en bon age, outre un fils hors du Pays qu'on ne sait s'il est en vie ou non."

"Reconfirmation" of marriage treaty, recorded by J. P. Gindre 29 mar 1707, but David Frossard is called son-in-law of Daniel Dutoit and Jaquaz Trolliet 18 feb 1701, by the same notary.

The account of her death at Moudon is unusually detailed:
"Cette jeune fille qui se trouvait enceinte pour la 3 fois après avoir disparu de chez son frère Jean Pierre avec qui elle demeurait a était trouvée enfin au bout de six semaines ou deux mois exhalant le dernier soupir, et son enfant qui paraissait
être né le jour auparavant, mort aussi à côté de sa mère, sur le soliveau de la grange de Jean Louis Jossevel, au Coude, et en face de la maison dont elle
se soit évadée, l'enfant était enveloppé de tablier et du mouchoir de col de sa mère. Cette malheureuse fille a paru s'être laissé mourir de defaut de nourriture, ce qui a paru par ce qu'elle
n'avoir que le peau et les os, et par les fragments de pommes de terre, de carrottes et de raves toutes cruës qui a étaient autour d'elle et dont sans doute elle avoit cherché à appaiser sa faim."
[Translation: "This young girl who found herself pregnant for the 3rd time after having disappeared from her brother Jean Pierre's home where she lived, was finally found after the end of six weeks or two months breathing her last sigh, and her infant
who appeared to have been born the day before, dead also beside his mother, on the sill of the barn of Jean Louis Jossevel, at La Coude, facing the house from which she had disappeared, the infant had been wrapped in an apron and the kerchief of its
mother. The unfortunate girl appears to have been allowed to die from lack of food, from the fact that she was nothing but skin and bones, and by the fragments of raw potatoes, carrots, and turnips that were around her, and with which she doubtless
had tried to appease her hunger."]
She is noted as a catechumen in 1811.
