Son of Claude Dutoit (1601), wife Susanne cited in 1611. A Pierre Dutoit son of André who appears at baptism in 1615 is probably his illegitimate son baptised in 1591. We assume André is the progenitor of the Dutoit lines known as "ès Andrey". André appears many times in notarial records at Vevey, e.g. those of Jean Maquelin, selling grain, at least as early as 1604. By 1628, his son Pierre is acting as his representative in grain transactions at Vevey.
He made two "reconnaissances" in the terriers ACV Fn 347 fol 184v and Fn 349 fol. 505v on 22 mar 1592.

There is a baptism for Anne, daughter of Abraham Dutoit, 13 apr 1611 (or 1610?). Is it possible that record is an error for Andrée? There is also an Andréaz daughter of Abraham's late brother Jean dit Billet. The identity of the present Andréaz depends on the identity of the "late Abraham". In 1631, Andréaz daughter of the late Abraham Dutoit marries Anthoine Pechonnaz (contract recorded by Jaques Jayet), then 2 months later marries André Oguey (Moudon church record).
The contract for the first marriage was recorded by Jean Jayet, notary at Moudon, 01 aug 1631. It notes that Andréaz is the daughter of the late Abraham Dutoit, but does not give any further information about her, other than the tantalizing hint that she was accompanied by her relatives Antoine Dutoit, Banderet, and Jaques Dutoit dit Maillard. Her relationship to the latter has been explained, because there is other evidence that Jaques and Abraham both descend from the five brothers who settled the estate of their father Nicod or Pierre, in 1569. So far, however, no connection between Antoine the Banderet and Abraham has yet been documented, because there are still two Dutoit lineages in early 16th Century Chavannes whose relationships are unknown.
Andréaz appears as a sponsor for a baptism 09 aug 1629, indicating that she had reached the age of confirmation, usually about 16-17. Therefore, she must have been born no later than about 1613.
