[14420] Date of intention.
Phillipe married again, at Paignton, 26 Jan.1601, George Stone of Paignton, who died between 20 Jan. 1614/15, when his will was dated, and 1(?) Jan. 1616/17, when it was proved.
[9902] Ella Milligan believed that Veronica Eberle was the daughter of Heinrich and Veronica (Ulrich) Eberle of Durlach, Lancaster Co., PA, Swiss immigrants who came to Philadelphia in 1727.
Correspondence with other families researching immigrants from the German Palatine area has led to some confusion about Veronica's parents and further research should be undertaken on this Eberle family.
For the most part, Mrs. Milligan's work is excellent but, over the years, a few discrepancies have been found. She corresponded extensively with German archivists in regard to all generations of the Metzger family. With the Eberle family, Mrs. Milligan was quoting from A History of the Heinrich Eberle Family published in 1927 by Rev. E. Elmer Sensing, Historian, from Allentown, PA. It is possible that one of the local historical societies would still have a copy of this work and an effort should be made to locate it.
Buried at New Goshenhoppen Reformed Church cemetery
Date of marriage assumed from the baptism of child in 1745. Marriage date of about 1744 is also found in LDS - individual group sheet, found on the internet.
