A document recorded 26 jan 1526/27 by Michel Frossard, notary at Moudon, involves the sons of the late Jean Gremoz alias du Russel, as well as Claude Gremoz "antennatus de chesalles", and Pierre son of the late Pierre Trolliet alias du Russel. How the Trolliet family fits into this apparent partage is not entirely clear. Although many of the names are the same as in the previous generation, the presence of Maurice Detecto as their maternal uncle assures us we have the right generation.

The two sons Claude and Pierre executed a partage 16 oct 1523 (Rodolphe Demont, notary at Moudon). At that time, they had wives Claudia and Katherine, respectively. They are identified as brothers, but the name of their father does not seem to appear in the document. They are dividing parcels in the area of Vuarmarens, and adjacent landowners included François DuTey/Detecto, Francesca DuTey/Detecto, Pierre Dutey, and Roleti Dutey. Roleti Gremoz is named clearly in another document of 26 jan 1529.
