Jaqueta, widow of the late Jaquetus Pigniolet, is mentioned as a previous owner in a transaction involving property at Payerne, 11 apr 1472 (ACV Aa 12/3, no. 466).
Because of the pattern of inheritance, such that her grandsons apparently inherited many parcels of land from the Demont family, it is tempting to suppose that Jeanne was herself a Demont, perhaps a sister of the notary Rodolphe Demont. Also, Demont recorded a great number of documents concerning the family. However, no more substantial evidence of a relationship has yet emerged.
Apparently married previously to a Fisher, daughter Emily Fisher b. 1854.
She made a "reconnaissance" for property subject to the Abbey of Payerne 02 may 1406 (ACV Aa 12/4, no. 627).
