Claude Bovard, living at La Crausaz (a house there was owned by the Gachet family of Payerne and rented for many years by the Bovard family), had his marriage to Marguerite Bosson recorded by Jaques Richard of Moudon and Claude de Place of Chastagnyez 18 oct 1595 (found in the registers of Claude de Place, ACV DI 48/24).
He purchased a house at Payerne (subject to the Abbey) from Wuilliermus Paquerot 28 jul 1415 (ACV Aa 12/3, no. 496).
