Possibly the missing marriages of some of the DuToicts should be sought in Yverdon and/or Payerne! Philippe's daughter Barbille married first Jaques DuToict of Moudon, then Isaac Rouge of Payerne. Jeanne Catherine Dutoict, daughter of Jaques and Barbille, was the niece of the banderet Anthoine DuToict, whose wife was Susanne Masset. As Anthoine is of the wrong age to be the brother of Jaques, Susanne should also be the daughter of Philippe Masset, but that is not what the published genealogy says.

Her testament of 27 aug 1605 was recorded by André de les Millières, notary at Montreux (ADV DS 65/1 fol. 41v). A number of other transactions recorded by the same notary reveal that she was a maternal sister of Louise and Jeanne, daughters of the late David Falquier. The name of their mother is given on fol. 76 of the same register, a partage dated 19 nov 1606 involving Louisa, daughter of the late David Falquier and wife of Pierre Gilliard of Brent, à présent résidant à Veytaux, and Jeanne, the other daughter of the late David Falquier and wife of Benoict son fo the late Denis Masson of Veytaux, dividing the property they received from their maternal sister Vincenda daughter of the late Jaques son of the late Pierre Masson, and of the late Marie Maurier (?), mother of the said partissants.
