The birth date is from an account of the family in the Memoirs of the Lower Ohio Valley: Personal and Genealogical, vol. 1, p. 182. That source gives her place of birth as "Campdismitien", possibly a misreading of La Chaux-du-Milieu (Neuchâtel). A Marie Julie Jacot was born there 13 dec 1787, according to the International Genealogical Index (IGI). The same person, or different? Also, a Marie Judith Jacot was born there 03 apr 1788 (to different parents), the reported birth date of Marie Julie. It might be that the birth read as Marie Judith actually was intended to say Marie Julie, or it might be that the child baptised as Marie Judith was actually known as Marie Julie in her adult life—there is ample precedent for both types of error! The parents for the child born 03 apr 1788 are Daniel Fréderich Jacot and Susanne Madelaine Huguenin-Vuillemin. This set of parents is probably the right one: the baptismal record for her son Philippe Ulysse, 15 jun 1811, identifies her as Marie Judith, daughter of the late Daniel Fréderic Jacot.
