There is a testament of Elizabeth Oboussier née Currit, undated, probated at Lausanne 06 feb 1784, which says she was the widow of Pierre Antoine Oboussier (ACV Bg 13bis/12 p. 128v). The testament names daughters Louise, Jeanne, and Marie Anne, but we have not located their baptisms.

She might be the Anne Estiannaz Asperlin baptised at Lausanne 29 nov 1680, daughter of Noble Joseph Asperlin and Jeanne Françoise de Praroman. Since she inherited property before 1711 that had come from the estate of whichever of the Asperlin had been Seigneur de Ballaigues, the research problem is to establish the succession of the Seigneurs de Ballaigues and their relationship to the rest of the Asperlin family. Samuel Asperlin, Seigneur de Ballaigues, was admitted to citizenship at Lausanne 13 oct 1651 (AVL D 438 fol. 50v), and by January, 1688 was still alive with four sons (AVL D 441/3). The last Seigneur de Ballaigues from the Asperlin family was Samuel's son Jean Salomon, who died in 1738. It follows that Anne Etiennaz must have been either a daughter or a grand-daughter of Samuel d'Asperlin.

She may have been the Judith Elizabeth Barbille Asperlin who married Isaac François Bégoz, but if so, the Bégoz genealogy has even more errors than we first thought. Her identity and her parentage are proved by a terrier ACV Fh 246, indicating (fol. 1v) "vertueux Isaac et Gabriel Monod avaient pour mère feu noble et vertueuse Elizabeth Barbille D'Asperlin, fille de feu noble et généreux Sbastian D'Asperlin et de noble et vertueuse Dame Salomé De Lavigny", and also (fol. 10) "Salomé DeLavigny était soeur de Jaqueline De Lavigny veuve de Volfgand Bikartt, bourgeois de Berne, ancien bailli d'Eschallens."
She must have died before 1709,

Were there two Asperlin's near Aubonne in the 1630's? An Anthoine Asperlin with wife Salomé, and a Sebastien Asperlin with wife Salomé de Lavigny are mentioned about the same time in the baptismal registers at Yens. Besides Chatelain d'Aubonne, the title Sr. de Bavois is mentioned. Later records specify simply Sebastien.
He is apparently the Sébastien Asperlin, de Bavois, who was killed in a duel with Jaques François Olivier, as reported in an item in the papers of the Senarclens family (ACV P Château de Vufflens 597E, dated 09 dec 1651 or possibly 1657, a contemporary extract from the "manuel de la ville de Berne"—the date should be checked against records in Bern).

It is possible that one of his descendants was the "Dr. Daller" who sailed with the colonists recruited by Ferdinand Rudolf Hassler in 1805 on the ship Liberty. Also on that ship was Lucille Oboussier, wife of Louis Gex. Lucille's mother was a Daller. Dr. Daller, whoever he was, arrived at Philadelphia with a shipment of medicines, but we have not been able to discover anything else about him.
