Unclear where he is in 1880, not with presumed parents! Also, some census records would place birth in 1870 instead of 1872. The obituary is clear:
ABRAM G. BARNETT -- Funeral Services for Abram G. Barnett, a native of Pittsburgh, will be held today at the Church of Holy Trinity in Middletown, Conn. Mr. Barnett, 85, former secretary-treasurer of the A. Garrison Foundry Company here, moved to Redding, Conn., in 1906 where he bought a 300-acre dairy and poultry farm. He retired from the farm in 1921 and had been living with his daughter, Mrs. Cornelius Kruse, of Middletown. During World War II, he was active in the American Red Cross. Surviving, besides Mrs. Kruse, is another daughter, Mrs. Guy Cambria, of Portland, Conn.; two sisters, Mrs. John W. Langdale, of Brooklyn and Miss Mary C. Barnett, of Pittsburgh and a grandson. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Thursday, 29 August 1957, p. 23)

The following information was found on Find-a-Grave: "OBIT: Mrs. Harold C. Johnson - Mrs. Alice B. Johnson, 72, of 215 N. Clay St., Zelienople, died at 11:20 p.m. yesterday in the Evergreen Convalescent Home, Harmony, after an extended illness. A retired beautician, she had been employed by Gimbel Brothers in Pittsburgh for 20 years. Born in Pittsburgh, Feb. 15. 1914, she was the daughter of Lawrence G. and Jessie A. Johnston Barnett. She was Presbyterian by faith. Her husband, Harold C. Johnson, died in August, 1946. Surviving are a son, Robert C. Johnson of Zelienople; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A son preceded her in death. Cremation will take place, and there will be no visitation or funeral services. Arrangements are in charge of Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, Zelienople. She usually listed as Ann or Anne, but the gravestone in the Cowan cemetery is very clear, Anna H. Barnett. She has been located in the 1850 and 1870 censuses only. Where is she in 1880? Where does she say her parents were born? We have no idea what her middle name was. If it was Hart, we might speculate that her grandmother might have been named Anna. Was there an obituary? Photos of her gravestone and that of her father show additional text, too small and indistinct to read in the available photographs (on William's stone, the additional inscription appears to be a religion text, the words "in the Lord" are legible). Do any better photographs or cemetery transcripts exist?
