He is mentioned in various records at Lutry about 1470. The following items in the Archives Communales de Lutry need to be examined: Bleu F 54 (date given as 1558, but referring to a dispute with Noble Pierre de Saint-Amour, who had not paid certain taxes, so it may be that the date should be 1458), Bleu K 261, Bleu K 263. At a much earlier date, 1427, there is a mention in the Archives de la Ville de Lausanne (Poncer. Menthon 88 Supplément) that Marie de Saint-Amour (from other sources, daughter of Jean de Saint-Amour, who had a son Pierre as well) was the wife of Noble Henri de Menthon, Baron of Aubonne. It is entirely plausible that a generation has been skipped in this line, and that this Pierre de Saint-Amour is a grandson of the Jean de Saint-Amour whose daughter married Henri de Menthon.
The testament of Petrus de Sancto-Amore is now faded and damaged (ACV C XVI 237/1, dated 02 jan 1477, thus 1478 by the modern calendar), but it clearly mentions the names of two children, Jacobus and Perroneta, as well as Pierre's wife Pernetta and his brother Johannes. The terms of a bequest to the priory of Lutry are less clear, but they are also the subject of a transaction recorded in an associated document (ACV C XVI 237/2) involving Johannes de Torculari and his wife Perroneta, daughter of Petrus de Sancto-Amore.

Sr. de Dommartin etc. His father Mongin Schouel (1469-1543), from Saulxures, came into favor with Duke René de Lorraine et Bar, who made him governor of Bouconville, Sr. de Saulxures, etc. Antoine, however, became an enthusiastic supporter of the new ideas of the Reformation. He corresponded with Farel, Viret, and Calvin. He was imprisoned in 1551 and his estates confiscated. He escaped with his family to Neuchâtel, then Geneva, and finally Lausanne, where he was made a citizen "for services rendered to one of the councillors".
