She had also previously been married to a Ducrest, by whom she had a daughter Claudaz Ducrest, wife of Jaques Dufour of Chernex, and a son Pierre Ducrest, whose wife was Marguerite Dufour. From other transactions recorded by the same notary on 19 feb 1658 (ACV DS 24/1, fols. 10 and 29), the first husband of Barbille must have been Amey Ducrest.

His notarial registers survive (ACV DS 24, 1656-1676). In his register DS 24/1, there is a notation after fol. 132 indicating that his papers were entrusted after his death fo Jean Puenzieux, notary at Clarens, and that Pueuzieux was given the task of recording Dubochet's stray transactions that had not yet been entered in the register, as of 13 jul 1676.
Daniel's wife had a half-brother Gabriel Puenzieux, so it is of some interest to establish the relationships of Daniel, his wife, and the Puenzieux family. There are two baptisms that might be Daniel's, but the one that seems most likely is for Daniel son of Jean Dubochet "du Chasnoz" and Susanne de les Milličres, 09 apr 1637. The designation "du Chasnoz" is evidently either in error, or else misleading, because the corresponding marriage, 07 apr 1623, clearly says "Jean du Bochet de Sales". Of the baptisms that could be his children, all place him at Le Chęne, but do not give the name of his wife. The other possibly baptism, Daniel son of Michel Dubochet de Sionzier, 30 jun 1633, seems much less likely because this Michel is consistently associated with Sionzier.
Turning to the problem of the parentage of Daniel's wife, we find five possibilities:
There is not yet enough information to determine which of these baptisms is that of Daniel's wife.
There were two men named Gabriel Puenzieux. The elder of the two was a son of Abraham Puenzieux, banneret (Abraham's wife Pernette is cited in the church records in 1625). This Gabriel was the brother of the notary Jean Puenzieux. He was already married by 1656. The other Gabriel was the son of Vincent Puenzieux and Jaquemaz Michel, baptised 18 jul 1646, and he appears as early as 1665 in the marriage contracts of at least three of his sisters.
What can we deduce about Antoinaz? From the date of birth of her last known child, she must have been born no earlier than 1628. From the date of birth of her first child, and that of her husband, she was probably born no later than about 1642. In either case, she was certainly well beyond the age of consent when her husband died, so the reason she had a "tuteur" or guardian at that time was not because she was too young to manage her own affairs. Hence, there is no necessity for her half-brother to be older than she was. Consequently, either Gabriel the younger or Gabriel the elder could be the one who was her half-brother. This leaves the order of her mother's marriages uncertain. If her half-brother was Gabriel the elder, then her mother was Pernette Perret, whose first marriage was to the Banneret Abraham Puenzieux. If her half-brother was Gabriel the younger, then her mother was Jaquemaz Michel, whose first marriage was to the father of Antoinaz.
Gabriel Puenzieux the elder married Emaz daughter of Antoine Dubochet 10 nov 1633. They baptised at least fourteen children, of whom one was Daniel, 29 may 1657, whose sponsors were Daniel Dubochet and his wife. At the baptism of André Dubochet, the first child of Daniel and Antoinaz, six months later, one of the sponsors was Susanne Puenzieux, perhaps a half-sister of Antoinaz. Gabriel the elder had a sister Susanne, baptised 20 jul 1617; they appeared together at a baptism on 11 may 1638. There does not seem to be another Susanne Puenzieux who could have been the sponsor for André Dubochet. From these facts, it seems most likely that it was Gabriel the elder who was the half-brother of Antoinaz Dubochet.
Gabriel Puenzieux the elder is apparently the Gabriel son of "Abraham P____" who was baptised 08 feb 1607 — but the rest of the surname is lost in the binding of the baptismal register! However, the record specifies that this "Abraham P____" was from Clarens, and there do not appear to be any other men named Abraham whose surnames began with P and who lived at Clarens during this period. The next child of Abraham Puenzieux of Clarens was baptised in 1609. Abraham is first noted as "Banderet" in 1621; his title is sometimes made more specific: "Banderet en la jurisdiction du Chastellard". His children were baptised at regular intervals until 1633. He and his wife Pernette Perret, whose family name does not seem to appear in the church records (she is cited as Pernette, daughter of the late Jaques Perret, in a document dated 04 dec 1611, André Delesmilličres, notary, ACV DS 65/1, fol. 237), are mentioned as late as 1637. At this point, we have to ask whether it is possible that Pernette, whose first known child was baptised in 1607, could also have produced a daughter, Antoinaz, after 1637. If this is what happened, we would have to suppose that our Antoinaz was one of the two born in 1642, which would require that Pernette was born no earlier than 1597, and thus too young to have a son Gabriel in 1607.
In other words, while it is Gabriel the elder who is most closely associated with the family of Daniel Dubochet, it does not seem possible that this Gabiel and Antoinaz could be the children of the same mother. It seems far more likely that Antoinaz was a step-sister of Gabriel, so that Gabriel's mother remarried to the father of Antoinaz, who was the daughter of a previous wife. The alternate hypothesis would be that, while Gabriel the elder was associated with Daniel's family at first, it was Gabriel the younger who was most closely related to Antoinaz, who could, perhaps, still be his half-sister — for this theory, then, we require that both Gabriels played a role in the Daniel Dubochet family.

He appears as a sponsor for a baptism on 08 sep 1605, by which time he must have passed the age of first communion, usually about 15-17. The name of his first wife is not known. Another David Dubochet, from Vernex, was baptising children about the same time, the first one in 1609.
The name of his first wife could have been Jeanne. At the baptism of Jeanne, daughter of Vincent Dubochet of Sâles, 04 apr 1613, the sponsors were David Dubochet and Jeanne his wife, but their place of residence was not given. However, we suspect Jeanne was actually the wife of a different David Dubochet, from Pertit, not the one at Sâles. The terrier ACV Fe 150 has "reconnaissances" for both of his known daughters, Louise and Claudaz, indicating their mother was Catherine Borcard.

Statements about his origin may be inconsistent. He is David Dubochet of Pertit in his marriage record and in the baptism of his first child Barbille. The next several baptisms do not give an origin but name the mother. The only baptism for Marie daughter of David Dubochet, in 1646, places him at Sâles, while other records suggest Vernex. There are also a couple of baptisms that give neither the origin nor the name of the mother that might be his children.
Several generations of his parentage are given in a "reconnaissance" of 19 jun 1648 (ACV Fe 150, fol. 364), where he and his wife are clearly identifiable.

The baptismal record identifies her father as Vincent Dubochet de Pertit habitant ŕ Sâles. About the same time (24 jul 1590), another Vincent Dubochet was still at Pertit, baptising children of his own. By 1592, there are baptisms for children of a Vincent Dubochet of Chailly, though it is possible that this Vincent was the same one who was still at Pertit in 1590.
The marriage record for Elčge (1610) calls her father Vincent Dubochet de Sâles.
