She is cited on several occasions in the minutes of the Consistory of Lausanne because of disagreements and distrubances within her family.

The baptism of her grand-daughter Jeanne Françoise Dufour 16 jun 1775 is strangely worded; one possibility is that Antoinette remarried to Josué Jorel after the death of David Dufour.

Dame d'Utzigen, when she made her testament 06 jul 1623. From her title, she is thought to be the daughter of Sebastian vom Stein of Bern, Sr. d'Utzigen and Urtenen, Landvogt at Romainmôtier 1574-1580, who died in 1585. Such a parentage would also give her a way to meet her husband!
[1475] Date of contract cited by Benoît de Diesbach on his web site containing the vom Stein genealogy.

Known as Louis or Lewis.
For reasons that are still uncertain, he and his descendants became known in Indiana as "Van Buren" and, in later generations, came to believe they might be of Dutch ancestry. However, family stories also included the information that his grandfather had served in the Swiss Guards in Paris at the time of the French Revolution (a story that appears to be incorrect — the grandfather was in a different Swiss regiment in France, not the Swiss Guards).
We are indebted to Jean-François de Buren for piecing together the true origins of this "lost" branch of the von Büren family of Bern, Switzerland. The early history of the family in Indiana is summarized in Bob Scott's "Swiss Census of Jefferson and Switzerland Counties, Indiana": "Lewis DeBuren, age 24, from Berne, registered as an alien in Jefferson County in 1830. This name became Van Buren in Indiana. The obituary of his son John noted that John's 'grandfather, Louis Van Buren, was a member of the famous Swiss guard that defended the royal family of Louis XIV of France at Versailles at the time of their forcible transit to Paris during the French Revolution.' This would appear to be Lewis's father who is the subject of this account. Lewis, in full Arnold Louis Amedée von Büren (1802-1879) married Anna Buhler (1807-1842). However, Christian Buhler's will refers to him as Ludavice VanBuren." Here we see that von Büren or de Buren had been transformed into Van Buren by the time Christian wrote his will, in 1854.
After the death of his wife, variously called Anna or Susanna Buhler, in 1842, he relocated several times. In 1850, we find him in Washington, Buchanan Co., Missouri, a wagonmaker, with his four children Margaret, Gustavus, John, and Emily. By 1860 he is back in Jefferson Co., Indiana, and in this census, interestingly, his birthplace is apparently listed as Baden. Since his father had been in military service for England, fighting against the French in Germany at this point, it is entirely plausible that Baden is indeed the correct birthplace. A record of his birth should have been sent back to his home parish in Switzerland, so it may be possible to confirm this reading. He traveled back to Europe at least twice, in 1855 (in the company of Frederick Joseph Van Buren, age 51, a Swiss shopkeeper in New York, who, however, did not return with Louis a few months later, 13 feb 1856), and again about the time of the Civil War (passport application 21 may 1861, arrived back at New York on the ship Lafayette from Le Havre 10 aug 1865). Also, he is believed to have spent some time in Tennessee.
He is on the 1880 US Census Mortality Schedule (Lewis Van Buren, age 77, born in Germany), indicating he had died in the year prior to the census.
