Identified as a notary, in a donation by Anthonius de Adventhica to the clergy of Avenches, 12 jan 1489 (ACV IB 1:29, notary Petrus de Dompnopetro), in which Anthonius recounts how various properties came into his hands. Among them is a group of properties and censes that had been sold by his father to Johannes Gachet, brother of Bartholomeus, on which Bartholomeus owed the censes. Some of these, if not all, had previously been held by Johannes Ancelles, and then by his daughter Margareta, wife of Bartholomeus (Gachet). In this sale, recorded 25 apr 1466 by Girardus Hugoneti, notary of Estavayer, the right of repurchase was evidently retained by the elder Anthonius, and so the younger Anthonius still held the rights of "reachept", which could be donated, transferred, or sold, with the option to exercise these rights. Apparently the same Girardus Hugoneti, clericus, of Estavayer, son of the late Johannes, is mentioned in a transaction recorded 04 may 1438 (Nicodus Mareschet, notary, ACV Dp 64, fol. 176). These documents place some limits on his dates, and, therefore, also on those of the Gachet family. None of his notarial registers appear to have survived, either at the ACV or the AEF.

Citations in various terriers help to establish some dates: ACV FL 399, deceased at least as early as 1486 (fol. 212), active at least as early as 1410 (!) (fol. 267v) and 1424 (fol. 445). FL 393, still living as of 1456 (fol. 107v, mentioning also that Andriveta was his first wife). FL 394, active 1416 (fol. 305v), 1431 (fol. 459v), FL 81, active 1447 (fol. 541).
