Used surname Hansen. Find-a-grave has picture of marker, Washington Memorial Park, SeaTac, King Co., WA, noting "PFC 34 BOMB GP AAF WORLD WAR II". Death notice from a newspaper, no sources given, notes he died in West Seattle when his car collided head-on with one driven by Richard Crum, 23, also of Seattle. There is also a newspaper picture, again unsourced, that appears to be of a much younger man. Also attached (by "Melinda St", very likely a Hansen descendant) is an obituary notice, source not listed: "BURTON R. HANSEN FUNERAL. Funeral services for Burton Robert Hansen, 42, of 7332 29th Av. S. W., will be at 1 o'clock tomorrow in the Washington Memorial chapel, with burial in Washington Memorial Park. He died Friday in an automobile collision in the 8800 Block of Delridge Way Southwest. Mr. Hansen also was known as Burton R. Victor. Born in Seattle, he resided here all his life. He was a letter carrier and operated a television repair service. He was manager and coach of Red Shield Youth Club Peewee Baseball. He was an Air Force veteran of the Second World War. Surviving are his wife, Rita R.; two daughters Linda R. and Rhonda L. Hansen, and two sons, Randall K. and Glen A. Hansen, all at home; his father, Robert I. Victor, and his step-father Ronald Hansen, both of Seattle; a sisten, Mrs. George Bounds, and his grandmother, both in California; a brother, Richard Victor; a half brother, Ronald Hansen, with the Air Force in Okinawa, and three half sisters, Mrs. Erwin Smith, Mrs. Dorsey Tracy and Mrs. Ronald Lemon, all of Seattle, and another half sister in California. The family suggests remembrances to the Red Shield Youth Club."
Burton and Rita's marriage was featured, with a large photograph, in the Leader-Post (Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada) on 19 feb 1952. They were married at St. Andrew's United church in Regina. Mentioned are Rita's uncle Harold Mater of Saskatoon (he is mentioned as "Uncle Harold" in some of the Victor family notes), her mother Mrs. E. Stonehouse, her sister Valerie Stonehouse, and a brother identified only as K. Stonehouse, From newspaper sources, it appears Stonehouse was a widespread family name in Saskatchewan.
