There is an obituary on the Find-a-Grave web site, but no source is mentioned: "Mrs. Mary Rivers, of Willsboro, New York, passed to the great beyond on Friday, December 20, 1935. She had been ill for a long time and a great sufferer at the end. Mrs. Rivers was 79 years old. Mary Jane Wilkins was the daughter of Luther Wilkins and Caroline Jaquish, of North Jay and Wilmington. Mrs. Rivers was married four times. Her first husband was George Sanders of Keene, New York, who left her with two young children. Her next husband was the late John McDougal to whom she was married 34 years prior to his death in 1914. Eleven children were born to them, all living except the oldest son Johnny, who died after reaching manhood. The other children are all married with large families. Mrs. Rivers was many times grandmother and several times great grandmother. After the death of Mr. McDougal, she was married to Charles W. Sanders in 1916. This marriage was dissolved and she then married Joseph Rivers of Willsboro in 1918, with whom she had made her home since. She was a kind mother, a hard working woman and a good neighbor."
