The terrier ACV Fh 34, fol. 201 and elsewhere, circa 1585, mentions Jenette daughter of Nicollet DuBugnion as the wife of Pierre Vacherand, at some point in the indefinite past. There does not seem to be another "Nicollet" DuBugnion in the terriers of this period, but there were apparently two men named Pierre Vacherand. The younger of them was still alive in 1561 (ACV Fh 38) and had married Pernon Pilliod, later the wife of Jean DuBugnion dit Girard (circa 1585). Jenette, then, was most likely the wife of Pierre Vacherand the elder. Pierre the younger was most likely her son or grandson.
The passage in Fh 34 fol. 201 tells us that Estienne Favre and his brothers were heirs of Jenette. The brothers were assessed by the Baron of Aubonne on the following parcel: "Item, pour la tierce part de la moitié de quattre poses de terre sises en la Coste du Bugnion indivises avecq Claudaz et Claudaz filles de feu François Malliez femmes desdictz du Bugnion freres pour la tierce partie de ladicte moitié avecq Egrege Estienne Favre et son frere cause ayantz de Claude du Perier et Pernette sa femme pour l'autre tierce partie de ladicte moitié et avecq ledict Egrege Favre et son frere heritiers de Jenette feue femme de Pierre Vacherand fille de feu Nicollet du Bugnion pour l'autre moitié desdictz quattre poses et sont jouxte le bois commung devers bize le bois de Jehan Beney et de ses condiviseurs que fust de Pierre et Nicollet Gagnerat devers vent le chemin publicque du Brez devers joux et le chemin publicque appellé es Magnins de la part du lac." This passage conflicts with other descriptions of apparently the same property in the same terrier, relating to the amounts owed by the other parties that had an interest in the property, but the genealogical information is consistent.
The du Bugnion family was numerous and, as mentioned in the previous quotation, sometimes had two children of the same name in one family. It may be possible to untangle the previous generations by following individual properties back through the terriers.

Her relationships are explained in the terrier ACV Fh 34 fol. 36 and elsewhere, circa 1585. She and her husband had previously owned property at Gimel en la Costaz du Bugnion that had subsequently come to be owned jointly by her brother Jean DuBugnion, their uncle Guillaume DuBugnion, and their cousins who were sons of their uncle François DuBugnion dit Girard. However, the sources are confusing and contradictory; evidently, one or more of the terriers is in error on her parentage.

Named as father of Nicollet du Bugnyon in a "reconnaissance" of Jaques de Genève dit Favre, 15 dec 1552 (ACV Fh 17, fol. 3). Earlier reconnaissances connected to this line by the name of the tutor of Johanneta, daughter of Nicollet and later wife of Petrus Vacherand, are found in several terriers, including Fh 133, fol. 55.
A donation between the Savariod and de Genève families of Gimel, 1529, mentioned in several places, and still unexplained, suggests there may be a genealogical connection between these families. One place to look for such a connection would be the unknown wives in the du Bugnyon family. For the Savariod family, there are also at least two unknown wives to be sought in the terriers.
