In 1850 census, George and Nancy are living in household # 594, no children. Household # 600 is the Allen D. Draper family, where Minerva Wheeler Draper is apparently caring George and Nancy's 2 infants as well as her own.

All this based on assumption that her marriage record actually pertains to George McCoy son of Alexander Sr., but it does seem to fit the known facts. Nancy is further assumed to be sister of Minerva Wheeler.

Brown Co. marriage records Book A #313 has George McCoy m. Nancy Wheeler. This would account for parentage of Alexander McCoy b. 1847, the date of same, and the fact that he is being cared for by Minerva Wheeler Draper 1850.
