[13826] It should be noted that the Ingalls Genealogy gives date of death as March 1647/48 which was some months before the will was written. Obviously, the early date is in error. Supposedly Edmund died while travelling to Boston on horseback and drowned in the Saugus River, owing to a defective bridge. His heirs recovered damages from the town. [15540] The name of Edmund's wife continues to be a mystery. Various (undocumented) sources show her given name to be Annis or Anne, with her surname shown to be Telbe, Telby or Tripp. More research will be necessary to determine which is correct. At this time, my records will show the spelling "Telbe".
