Buried at Capel St. Mary, 25 Mar. 1642.
He first married Frances _____, who was buried 24 Feb. 1620/1; marr. 2) Susan, who died 26 Apr.1628; and 3) the widow Anna Bloss, 1629. By 2d wife, children were John, bapt. 26 Oct. 1623; named in father's will, and Mary, bapt. 20 Apr. 1628; bur. at Capel 26 Apr. 1628. His widow died 24 Nov. 1681.
Isaac Mixer, aged 31, with wife Sarah, aged 33, and son Isaac, aged 4, embarked for New England at Ipswich, England, 10 Apr. 1634, and settled at Watertown. He died in 1655.
He was admitted freeman, May 2, 1638. He was appointed Clerk of the Train Band Apr. 4, 1654. (In early America the Train Band was similar to the local militia).
His will was proved 19 June 1655, abstract of which can be found in NEHGR 19:42-43 (Jan. 1865).

This volume incorrectly names Mary Coolidge as the mother of Joanna Mixer.
Resided on the homestead at Sudbury, where all of his children were born. In 1616 he was at Worcester, and in that year purchased of his brother-in-law, John Maynard, and wife Lydia, all her interest in her father's estate in Sudbury and elsewhere. He erected a mill on his farm in Worcester.

The baptismal records of Moudon appear to show two of his children in 1675: Elizabeth (10 oct 1675) and Jeanne Susannne (?) (19 nov 1675). The second of these does not list the name of the mother, but in both records the name of the father is clear. It is very likely that one of these records is in error.
