The marriage record calls her Jeanne daughter of Zacharie Melden, but in later records she is called Jeanne Lagnel. Her baptism as Jeanne Melden is not found at Bière, so she was either baptised after 1654, which seems unlikely, or else in another parish. If, however, she was actually Jeanne Lagnel, we have not found a Zacharie Lagnel old enough to be her father. It does not seem likely that Jean Dayouz remarried to a Lagnel, for we should have found that record at Bière. Until the problem is resolved, all of the children of Jean Dayouz and Jeanne Melden/Lagnel are placed here.
Her testament, Jeanne Meldens, widow of the late Jean Dayoux, was recorded 18 jun 1715 (Jean Pierre Monod, notary, ACV DK 82/13). It names her children Pierre Jaques and Jeanne Dayoux, and her daughter Gabrielle, wife of Jean François Cagneux.
