Notes for the parish of Bière (includes Ballens and Mollens)

• Bière, Ballens, Mollens 1567-1705: The earliest records are faded, damaged, and incompletely legible. There are occasional gaps, and some entries are illegible. However, entries are usually quite detailed. Baptisms from December, 1652 to August, 1670, and marriages from November, 1654, to September, 1670 are missing, attested by the next minister, who noted the situation in the register.
