[12702] Gendex website (June 2001) showed the following, which needs further proof: Rebecca may have been the daughter of Edward Johnson, from Wharham (?) England. She was born ca 1606 in Wharham, England. Died 16 April 1661, Watertown, MA. Married Edward Garfield, ca 1634. Children: Abigail; Joseph; Rebecca; Benjamin.
Another entry on Gendex (site no longer in operation) shows Rebecca was born 1606 in Kendal, Westmoreland, ENG; christening on 24 Aug. 1609 in Kendal. Death same as above.
This date is estimated from her age of 55 at time of death.
He married 3rd, on 1 Sep. 1661, Joanna Buckmaster, widow of Thomas Buckmaster.
He had a first wife in England with whom he had three children, baptized in Coventry, Warwickshire, including a son named Samuel, born 1613.
Her name possibly Sarah?
[15253] There has been much speculation about the wife (or wives) of Jasper Gunn. In various records she is named Ann or Christian. On 25 April 1641 Jasper and wife, Mary, were admitted to the church in Milford, CT, having been dismissed from the church in Hartford, CT. Mary's name appears on the stone on the Memorial Bridge in Milford. However, Christian Gunn, widow, left a will in which she named all of the same children Jasper Gunn mentioned in his will. The wills are recorded in the Probate Court in New Haven, CT. The early New Haven records need to be explored again.
In WFT, Vol. 27, Pedigree 2931, the submitter has Christian's surname as Baldwin and names parents, Richard Baldwin and Isabel Harding. No proof is offered. Also was noted a 2d marriage to Mary, last name unknown.
Birth estimated from a record (by Hotten) that she was aged 25 on 18 July 1635.
In his "Planters of the Commonwealth" Charles E. Banks lists the passengers in family groups and in this case Jasper Gunn, Anne Gunn and Phebe Maulder, age 7.
Her will, dated 6 May 1690, was proved 12 Nov. 1690, so the death date was somewhere inbetween those dates.
Wife, Elizabeth, named in his will.
[15488] World Family Tree, V. 2, Pedigree #612 shows the wife of Henry Ingalls to be "Johan Wytton" but no proof was provided.

Lincoln Consistory Court Wills, 1627, Folio N. 95. Will of Alice James of Boston, dtd 24 Apr. 1627, proved at Lincoln, 5 May 1627.
Date of marriage estimated; the oldest child, John, was b. ca 1587.
This date is assumed.
Old gravestone in the Leidy Cemetery reads "Hana Leidisin" with the year reportedly 1778. A drawing of the gravestone on the following page shows the year to be 1776. This is assumed to be the wife of Jacob. There is another gravestone reading Elisabet Leadisin, 15 October 1764.
Birth of first child occurred in 1719, so 1718 assumed as date of marriage. There may have been additional children born to this couple.
Perhaps Elizabeth was a sister of Bridget, wife of John Parmenter of Bures Saint Mary, later of New England. The Lokers and Parmenters both came to New England and settled in Sudbury. Two pairs of sisters named Bridget and Elizabeth were baptized at Bures Saint Mary at the right time. John Simpson had Bridget baptized in 1585/6 and Elizabeth in 1588. William Perry had Elizabeth baptized in 1586/7 and Bridget in 1593.
Henry's widow, Elizabeth, and her four children went to New England in 1639 and settled in Sudbury, where she died in 1648.
They may have been married in a nearby parish, or perhaps in Bures Saint Mary between 1602 and 1609, for which period there are no marriage records there.
Elizabeth may have been the sister of Bridget, wife of John Parmenter of Bures Saint Mary, later of New England.
St. Mary's Register, under date of 28 May, 1633, has "Margaret Meruin widow of Edward Meruin dec'd buried."
